UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State's College of Health and Human Development Alumni Society recently recognized faculty members, staff members and students for their accomplishments:

Faculty Appreciation AwardMichael Green, professor of nutritional sciences

The Faculty Appreciation Award honors a faculty member who actively promotes relationships among students, faculty and staff members, and alumni above and beyond the demands of his/her job.

Staff Appreciation AwardDonna Bitner, administrative assistant in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies

The Staff Appreciation Award honors a staff member who actively promotes relationships among students, faculty and staff members, and alumni above and beyond the demands of his/her job.

Edith Pitt Chace AwardHaley Schlechter, undergraduate student in the Department of Nutritional Sciences, and Nicole Radlow, undergraduate student in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders

The Edith Pitt Chace Award recognizes an outstanding student leader and scholar in the College of Health and Human Development.

Student Service AwardLenea Harris, undergraduate student in the School of Hospitality Management

The Student Service Award recognizes service by a student in the College of Health and Human Development to the College of Health and Human Development or College of Nursing, to Penn State, and to the community.
