UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Faculty and graduate student volunteers are needed to serve as poster judges for the Undergraduate Exhibition on April 8. Judges play a vital role in the success of this event, which this year includes more than 200 posters and 300 student presenters. More judges than ever are required to cover this all-time high Undergraduate Exhibition participation. Volunteers are being sought in six broad areas of poster entry: Arts and Humanities, Engineering, Health and Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Course-based Projects (all disciplines).
Poster judging will be held in Alumni Hall in the HUB-Robeson Center on April 8. Judges choose the times and area(s) of entry for judging. Each judging session spans a 90-minute period (9:30-11 a.m.; 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; 12:30-2 p.m.) in which each judge is given approximately three posters to review. Most judges find that a total of about 45 minutes is required to complete the judging. The students will be available through the 90-minute session so judging can take place at any time during that period. A judge need not stay the entire 90 minutes.

Faculty and graduate students willing to serve as a judge should complete and submit the online Judge Volunteer Form. The Office of Undergraduate Education will confirm by email that the judge volunteer form was received successfully.
