College of Medicine announces town hall meeting on Penn State Values

Among the major outcomes of the Penn State Values and Culture Survey released last September is the creation of a draft statement of core values for the University. Called "Penn State Values," the list directly represents the feedback of students, faculty and staff at all Penn State locations.

On April 7 and 8, University Ethics Officer Tim Balliett will visit Penn State College of Medicine to further introduce the proposed Penn State Values and encourage discussion regarding their definition and application within the Penn State community. Breakouts will be held to discuss refinements to the definitions, ways in which the Values can be personally applied to daily life on campus, and areas in which the University could further develop its commitment to the Values.

There will be two opportunities to attend a meeting: 7 to 8 a.m. on April 7 in Lecture Room B; and noon to 1 p.m. on April 8, in C2860, Anesthesia Conference Room. The meetings are open to all students, faculty and staff.

For more information, visit www.universityethics.psu.edu. For those who are unable to attend the meeting, a website to offer feedback will be available at www.values.psu.edu.
