On Thursday, March 26 at 7:30 p.m. on WHTM-TV abc27, specialists from Penn State Hershey Colon and Rectal Surgery will discuss the latest surgical options for diseases including colorectal cancer and ulcerative colitis. During this live program, viewers will be able to call in to speak one-on-one with doctors in the studio. Questions may also be emailed in advance to questions@abc27.com.
The program will feature information on minimally invasive and robotic surgery, including single site laparoscopy. Experts also will discuss how family history and genetics can play a significant role in many intestinal diseases, including IBD, diverticulitis and colon cancer.
