Penn State Hershey Breast Center earns re-accreditation

Penn State Hershey Breast Center recently earned a three-year, full reaccreditation designation by the American College of Surgeons’ National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC). Accreditation by the NAPBC is given only to those centers that have voluntarily committed to provide the highest quality breast care and undergo a rigorous evaluation process and review of performance. The center must demonstrate compliance with NAPBC-established standards for treating women who are diagnosed with the full spectrum of breast disease.
