Fullington Trailways unveils Pink Zone at Penn State bus

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Fullington Trailways continues to celebrate and support Pink Zone at Penn State and will debut a new Pink Zone at Penn State bus on Saturday as Fullington transports the Lady Lions to Rutgers for their game on Sunday. Fullington Trailways and other bus companies will provide free bus service for breast cancer survivors from 20 cities across Pennsylvania to the 2015 Pink Zone at Penn State presented by Mount Nittany Health on Sunday, March 1.

The partnership Fullington Trailways has with the Lady Lions in support of the Pink Zone at Penn State stretches into its seventh year. "Many people are affected by cancer in one way or another, so this is a cause that most everyone can connect with and we're happy to support," said Mike Fullington, Vice President & COO of Fullington Trailways. "It touched our family a few years ago when my sister, Aerial Fullington Weisman, Past President & CEO of Fullington Trailways, was diagnosed with the disease."

"We strongly believe in giving back to the community, and being able to support and remember loved ones is truly an honor. Year after year, we are proud to continue our partnership with Penn State University," states Mike Fullington. "We hope this partnership will thrive for years to come!"

Breast cancer survivors are eligible for one free game ticket, plus up to three additional game tickets for friends and family. Additional game tickets are available for purchase at a discounted rate of $5 each. All game tickets are reserved seating. Survivor registration is available on www.pennsylvaniapinkzone.org.

The 2014-15 Penn State Lady Lion Basketball season is presented by Kish Travel and Kish Insurance. The Lady Lions continue their road trip at Rutgers Sunday for a game that will appear on the Big Ten Network. Penn State is back in the BJC against Maryland on Thursday, Feb. 5. The Maryland game is Social Media Day, fans can like the Lady Lions on Facebook or follow them on Twitter to print out a Social Media Dollar Day coupon ($1 ticket, free parking, $1 soda).

Lady Lion Basketball single-game are available by calling 1-800-NITTANY. Single-game tickets range from $10-17 for adults and seniors and $5-11 for youth (12 and younger). The PNC Flex Books are $120 and give fans 12 vouchers, 10 that can be redeemed in any combination for Nittany Lion and Lady Lion Basketball tickets throughout the year and two extra vouchers for the Nittany Lions' Coaches Vs. Cancer game and the Lady Lions' Pink Zone game.

The Ninth Annual Pink Zone at Penn State presented by Mount Nittany Health will be held Sunday, March 1 in the Bryce Jordan Center when the Lady Lions take on Wisconsin. The time for the game will be determined later in the season. Last year, the Lady Lions donated a record $310,000 to breast cancer causes. All totaled, the Lady Lions have donated more than $1.135 million for breast cancer research and awareness in the first eight years. This year's fundraising efforts will benefit the Mount Nittany Medical Center, Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute, Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition, the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, J.C.
