The organization aims to help solve the world’s pressing social and environmental issues by engaging, empowering and educating people of all ages in creating projects, initiatives and campaigns that focus on water, energy, food, waste and ecology.

IDEAS for Us has received more than 15 national awards, including honors from the National Wildlife Federation and the White House, since its creation in 2008.

The Penn State chapter’s first meeting will be 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, in 215 Armsby Building. "We want to take all of your great 'IDEAS' and implement them at Penn State," said Taylor Ryan, one of the club’s organizers. All students are welcome.
