Class to focus on boosting metabolism, changing eating habits

A new, free class for members of the Penn State Hershey University Fitness Center is aimed at helping participants improve their eating habits and boost their exercise routines. Instructor Kathy Weber is teaming up with class participant Louise Albrecht, a registered dietitian, to present MET-ReSet. The class is designed to provide a one-two punch to reset metabolisms through a challenging interval training workout and by supporting participants to make positive, healthy eating choices. The lineup for the class includes:

  • Interval Training- Why it is a superior workout.
  • Anti-aging/anti-cancer agents
  • Your gut: It's the core of your health.
  • Know your food labels
  • Food and mood

MET-ReSet is held from 5 to 5:45 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the University Fitness Center. UFC members may join the class at any time.
