An unprecedented 7th national title for the women's volleyball team, fall commencement and a Pinstripe Bowl victory were among the top stories during the holiday break:

Women's volleyball team national title: With its record-breaking 7th national title, Penn State has won more women's volleyball championships than any other program in history.

Fall commencement: More than 5,000 students received their degrees at fall commencement ceremonies across Penn State in December.

Pinstripe victory: The Nittany Lions edged the Boston College Eagles in a thrilling overtime victory at the Pinstripe Bowl.
