CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The Penn State Lehigh Valley THON team has partnered with the Easton Buffalo Wild Wings to give fans a chance to watch the Nittany Lions take on Boston College at the Pinstripe Bowl and raise money for THON at the same time. The restaurant will host a viewing party from 3 to 9 p.m. on Dec. 27 at its location at 3798 Dryland Way in Easton, Pa., during which 15 percent of food sales will be donated toward the campus’s THON fundraising total.

“Buffalo Wild Wings’ commitment to helping make communities a better place to live, work and grow has always been a part of its culture," said Baka Malitz, general manager at Buffalo Wild Wings. "Over the years, Buffalo Wild Wings, its franchisees and guests have given millions of dollars to local teams, local community and school organizations, and to support those in need. We are excited to support our local campus’ efforts to help conquer pediatric cancer with this event.”

In addition to watching the game, campus students are organizing giveaways, activities and an appearance by the Nittany Lion mascot for fans who attend. The students are encouraging social media engagement using #EveryWingCounts.

Those hosting home viewing parties or tailgates can also support THON by placing a catering order through the Easton Buffalo Wild Wings. All fans have to do is mention they are supporting THON or present the #EveryWingCounts graphic available at lv.psu.edu to their server via mobile device or printout.

The Easton Buffalo Wild Wings features wall-to-wall high-definition, flat-screen televisions for event and sports viewing and has won awards for its Buffalo N.Y.-style wings.

THON 2015 will take place Feb. 20-22 at the Bryce Jordan Center on the University Park campus in State College, Pa. More than 700 students from Penn State campuses and organizations will dance continuously for 46 hours to raise money for pediatric cancer research and treatments. Last year THON raised more than $13 million for the Four Diamonds Fund.
