UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Celine Whitlinger (Garden Grove, Calif.) captured College Hockey America (CHA) Goaltender of the Week honors for a conference-best third time on Monday after she earned her second-straight shutout in a 5-0 win over Robert Morris on Dec. 5.

The junior turned away a season-high 42 shots including 33 in the final 40 minutes to keep the Colonials off the board for just the second time this season. The solo shutout was the second in program history and the second in as many games for Whitlinger. The win improved her record to 5-4, marking a career-high win total.

Penn State closes out the fall semester by hosting nationally-ranked Mercyhurst this weekend, welcoming the Lakers on Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 13 at 2 p.m.
