Dan Simon, a senior from Harrison City, competed at the U.S.A. Nationals in Greensboro, North Carolina. He placed 32nd in the 100 backstroke, finishing in 49.57.

Mia Pietropola, a sophomore from Pittsburgh, set three school records at Fredonia. She broke the record in the 200 IM during the preliminaries, then broke it again in a heat swim with a time of 2:11.84. She also set a record in the 100 breaststroke, finishing in 1:07.86.
