Nominations sought for annual W. LaMarr Kopp International Award

Nominations are now being accepted for the University office of Global Programs’ annual W. LaMarr Kopp International Achievement Award.

The awards are designed to recognize those at Penn State who make extraordinary contributions to the advancement of the international mission of the University. Four awards are given annually in the categories of undergraduate student, graduate student, staff member and faculty member. Criteria for the awards include leadership and support for international education, service to the international community and research with a significant international component.

Each award carries a $1,000 cash award and a plaque. A nominee/applicant must be a full-time faculty member, staff member or student at Penn State. The deadline for receiving the full application is Jan. 9. The awards are presented at the University Awards Convocation in the spring.
