December 01, 2014

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- A Penn State alumna who serves as community manager for KIND Healthy Snacks, will discuss her job and her path to a communications career during a free public session.

The session featuring Meghan Kelleher, who earned her advertising/public relations degree in 2008, begins at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, in 262 Willard Building.

KIND prides itself on healthy snacks with a tasty edge. Since its launch 2004, when it offered eight health bar varieties, the company has grown to 22 different bar varieties and six healthy grain clusters.

Before KIND, Kelleher worked specifically with clients in the food division as a senior account executive at Access Communications. Throughout her career, she has supported charities such as the Breast Cancer Fund and Feeding America. Kelleher is also certified in nutrition through the Ketchum Nutrition Certification Program.

Kelleher’s visit is sponsored by Penn State’s Lawrence G. Foster chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America.
