Marquette University dean of Libraries to speak on diversity

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Janice S. Welburn, dean of Libraries at Marquette University, will present on diversity initiatives in research libraries at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, in Foster Auditorium. The presentation is free and open to the public and can also be viewed online.

Welburn has a distinguished career in research librarianship, including holding the designation of Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL) Librarian of the Year in 2011. She has written and presented extensively on diversity and a number of other topics. This presentation will focus on what’s next for diversity in academic libraries.
