UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Three-time National Coach of the Year Randy Jepson has released the 2015 schedule for the Penn State men’s gymnastics program. The 2015 campaign features Penn State hosting six meets including the Big Ten Championships (March 27-28).

“We are very excited for the upcoming season where we will once again face the nation’s finest,” Jepson said. “Six home contests highlight the schedule including meets against Big Ten and national powers Michigan, Ohio State, and Iowa.”

The Nittany Lions open the year with their annual Blue-White Showcase Friday, Dec. 12 at 7p.m. in Rec Hall. The first official meet for the Nittany Lions takes place in Rec Hall Sunday, Jan. 11 as Penn State hosts Army at 1 p.m.

Following their dual against Army, the Nittany Lions travel north to West Point, N.Y., to compete in the two-day West Point Open (Jan 16-17). After their trip to Army, Penn State returns home to host two meets over a three week period.

The Nittany Lions welcome a pair of Big Ten foes to Rec Hall as the defending national champion Michigan Wolverines come to town Saturday, Jan. 24 and Ohio State highlights a Friday night showdown (Feb. 6).

“We will conclude our home season with a real treat for our fans by hosting the Big Ten Championships in Rec Hall,” Jepson added. “The mix of competition we will face this season will prepare us well as we look to be battle hardened and ready to challenge for top honors by the postseason.”

Following their two-meet homestand, Penn State hits the road for four out of the next five weekends.

The Nittany Lions travel to Champaign, Ill., to take on Illinois Saturday, Feb. 14 and the following weekend Penn State heads to Las Vegas for the Winter Cup (Feb. 19-21).

Penn State returns home for Senior Day as they host Iowa on Friday, Feb. 27. After their meet against Iowa, Penn State embarks on its 10th trip in program history to the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico to square off against the Caribbean Island's national team (March 6).

The final competition before the Big Ten Championships is set for a quad-meet at Nebraska Sunday, March 15. Along with Nebraska, Penn State will compete against Iowa and Minnesota at the Bob Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln, Neb.

Penn State takes a week off from competition before hosting the Big Ten Championships March 27-28 in Rec Hall.

The University of Oklahoma is the host for the 2015 NCAA Championships. The NCAA Championships take place at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman, Okla., with the qualifier on April 9 and the individual finals set for April 11.
