United Way Committee taking orders for half-gallons of Creamery ice cream

The Penn State Beaver United Way Committee will conduct its second Annual Penn State Creamery half-gallon ice cream sale this fall. In addition, other activities will continue in order to raise money for the annual United Way of Beaver County campaign.

Programs include several “Dress Down Days” when staff and faculty are encouraged to wear jeans and casual clothing if they donate $5 to the United Way Committee. A gift basket auction will also be held in December in the Student Union Building; dates and times will be announced at a later date.

Orders for half-gallons of Penn State Creamery ice cream must be placed by 5 p.m., Monday, Nov. 3. Orders must be picked up Wednesday, Nov. 19 between noon and 2 p.m. or 4 and 6 p.m. or by appointment. To obtain an order form, contact Dana Alvetro, United Way committee member and program assistant in the Office of Continuing Education, at dlb31@psu.edu or 724-773-3762.
