An additional 300 parking spaces were added to the southwest corner of the existing Stadium West parking lot, thanks to a joint effort between Transportation Services and the Office of Physical Plant.

This includes the installation of six new ADA parking spaces and eight new spaces for motorcycles. The project also added new motorcycle spaces near the Penn State All-Sports Museum, a new sidewalk along the northbound side of University Drive between Curtin Road and Park Avenue, and new LED lighting for the entire Stadium West lot.

To provide greater options for visitors, a new pay-by-license plate parking pay station will be installed in the southwest corner of the lot in the coming weeks. The pay station will provide hourly visitor parking for approximately 30 spaces near University Drive that will be reserved for visitor parking from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays.

The lot expansion and a new magnetic bollard system will provide greater flexibility for special event parking and allow the lot to be configured to meet the unique and specific needs of events. With the recent opening of Pegula Ice Arena, a busy Bryce Jordan Center event schedule, and the expansion of the Intramural Building, the changes will provide additional daytime and event parking
