CPA program to launch in September

Penn State Greater Allegheny is offering a 40-hour, 13-week session as part of the Certified Public Accounting (CPA) program at Penn State Greater Allegheny. Participants receive continuing education credits for the courses. 

The CPA Program is designed for certified public accountants, enrolled tax practitioners, and attorneys to broaden their knowledge and relate particular specialties to the field of accounting and to examine developments in the profession.  Attorneys can receive up to 31 continuing legal education credits included in the price.

Sessions will be held Mondays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays, from the week of Sept. 8 through the week of Dec. 8. The cost is $298. 

Topics covered will include: estates and trusts, tort litigation, the Affordable Care Act, and more.
