Business Majors Night is an annual event for students who have business goals but are not certain how to identify majors that match their interests or know if a business curriculum would be a good fit.

During the program, representatives from various Penn State colleges will present brief descriptions of their business-related majors, explain what students study in these majors and discuss how the majors can help students prepare for careers in business.

Students will hear about business majors in the Smeal College of Business as well as in the colleges of Agricultural Sciences, Communications, Earth and Mineral Sciences, Engineering, Health and Human Development, Information Sciences and Technology, the Liberal Arts and Eberly College of Science. They will also learn how various majors can help them prepare for career paths that include global industries, economics, hospitality, law, communications, health and more.

Students will be able to compare curricula, ask questions and consider opportunities across the University to make more informed decisions about their majors of choice.

The Division of Undergraduate Studies, a unit within the Office of Undergraduate Education, is one of Penn State’s largest units of enrollment for first-year students, leads the development of advising policies and practices, manages the University-wide academic information network and provides general academic advising for current and prospective Penn State students.
