First Friday Series speaker to discuss York's Latino population

Penn State York’s First Friday Series gets started for the fall Sept. 5 when Nate Rivera, Latino services director for the City of York, will speak at noon in the Community Room of the Joe and Rosie Ruhl Student Community Center. Rivera will talk about the history of York’s Latino population, share information about Latino culture and answer questions. The program is free and open to the public.

The goal of the First Friday series is to introduce the campus and community to a variety of cultures. The First Friday Series is sponsored by the Penn State York Diversity Committee.
