Fall semester's admissions events planned at Penn State New Kensington

The Admissions Office is holding nine events during the fall semester for prospective students and parents. Events will be held in the Conference Center or the campus theater.

The events include:
-- Fall Open House, Sept. 20
-- For Parents Only, Sept. 25
-- Be a Student for a Day, Oct. 8
-- Application Day, Oct. 13 and Nov. 10
-- RadSci/BET Open House, Oct. 22 and Nov. 4
-- Penn State Day Open House, Oct. 23
-- Veterans/Adult Open House, Nov. 6

The For Parents Only program is geared toward parents of high school students and is a guide to the college admissions and the financial aid processes. Be a Student for a Day gives future students the opportunity to attend a class, have lunch in Cafe 780, and, in general,  get a feel for what it is like to be a Penn State New Kensington student.

The Fall Open House is a chance for prospective students and their families to explore the University and meet with campus students, faculty, staff and alumni. Application Day provides prospective students with help in filling out an application and allows for an admissions decision within a week's time for students applying to the New Kensington campus. Radiological Sciences/Biomedical Engineering Technology Open House participants will have an opportunity to meet students and faculty of the respective programs. Prospective veteran students and adult learners will be able to talk with current veterans and adult learners about their experiences at the campus.

To register for programs, call 724-334-LION or 888-968-PAWS.
