Workshop discusses debt management

identify, manage and reduce debts

Debt Management will be presented from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, in Foster Auditorium, 102 Paterno Library on the University Park campus of Penn State. The workshop will help participants identify, manage and reduce debts, regardless of the source, including credit cards, student loans or other debts. They will learn to track spending, differentiate between wants and needs, build a sustainable budget, strategize for tough economic times, and make little changes that save money over time and help with overall debt management and financial control.

Presenter Daad Rizk is a Penn State financial literacy coordinator, and the presentation is part of the Money Counts: a Financial Literacy Series, a collaborative effort of the Penn State Commission for Adult Learners and the University Libraries.
