Funding opportunity in Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute

HERSHEY, Pa. -- The NIH-funded Penn State Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) is making available KL2 funds to support research training for up to four scholars in areas relating to clinical and translational science.Applicants for KL2 funding must be Penn State faculty, with an appointment as Assistant Professor or Research Associate (UP), and have an M.D., D.O., Ph.D., M.D./Ph.D. or D.O./Ph.D. degree.

Funds cover 75 percent salary support, $22,000 per year in research-related costs and tuition support for a two-to-three year period.

Applications will be available June 1 at www.ctsi.psu.edu. The application deadline is Sept. 22, for support beginning January 2015.
