Shenango to hold Rummage Sale on May 3; proceeds to benefit the United Way

In conjunction with the City of Sharon’s Downtown May 3 Spring Fling, Penn State Shenango will hold a Rummage Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 3, in McDowell Hall, located on Shenango Avenue. All proceeds from the sale will be donated to the United Way of Mercer County.

The sale will include clothing, household items, toys, baby and children’s furniture and items, and books.

Also on May 3, Penn State Shenango will be selling Penn State Berkey Creamery Ice Cream from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. next to McDowell Hall, and the Lartz Memorial Library will be holding a community open house from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pennsylvania residents may sign up for a library card with proof of state residency.
