April 08, 2014

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Penn State alumni are invited to a Nittany Networking event featuring food, giveaways and Berkey Creamery ice cream from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 17, in the Blast Furnace Room (second floor) at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks.

This informal evening of networking welcomes new alumni to the area, and offers them the opportunity to see friends and build new connections. The event is co-hosted by Penn State Alumni Career Services and the Penn State Lehigh Valley Alumni Society, and is open to all Penn Staters.

Terry DeGroot, Class of 1985, will share his thoughts on networking in the Lehigh Valley gained from his experiences as a Penn Stater and a business owner. Representatives from Alumni Career Services will share networking tips and resources.

Nittany Networking events are dynamic, interactive, multi-faceted programs that create avenues for Penn Staters to meet each other and build professional connections. It's a time for Penn Staters to talk, professionally brainstorm and share their mutual Penn State experience.

To register, go to http://alumni.psu.edu/career/events.
