Summer music study available for high school students

The Penn State School of Music announces its second annual Honors Music Institute from July 13 to 19. This residential program for talented high school students offers an intensive week-long immersion in the art of music making, and is open to students entering ninth grade through those graduating in spring 2014.

Accepted students will participate in masterclasses, private lessons, chamber music, student recitals and large ensembles. Specific areas of study include chamber choir, jazz ensemble, piano and wind ensemble. All student participants will study with renowned School of Music faculty and acclaimed guest artists.
