WPSU to air interviews with president-elect throughout the week

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – WPSU will air selections from Patty Satalia’s interview with Penn State President-Elect Eric Barron several times on TV and radio in the coming days. The University’s Board of Trustees selected Barron on Feb. 17 to become Penn State’s 18th president. Barron, who comes to Penn State from the presidency at Florida State University, will begin his new position on May 12. He succeeds President Rodney Erickson, who announced in 2012 his intention to retire no later than June of this year.
