The Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon (THON), Penn State’s 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon, is coming up on Feb. 21 to 23. THON’s mission is to provide outstanding emotional and financial support to the children, families, researchers and staff of the Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital. THON is also the largest student-run philanthropy in the world, and each year Penn State students continue to shatter fundraising records.

Fundraising through the Medical Center provides the opportunity for two medical students to attend as dancers each year for THON weekend. Since 1977 THON has donated more than $100 million dollars, $12.4 million dollars in 2013 alone, to the Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Hershey.

To donate online, go to http://goo.gl/9X7DQ7 and click the yellow “Donate Now” box in the lower left corner. To donate by check, make checks payable to "Penn State Dance Marathon" and on the memo line write “Hershey Medical Center #169.” Checks should be sent to the following address: 210 HUB-Robeson Center, University Park, PA, 16802.
