Collegiate Recovery Community announces 12-step, other recovery programs

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State’s Collegiate Recovery Community (CRC) announced four recovery-related meetings currently held on the University Park campus.

-- Friday’s First Alcoholics Anonymous Meeting: Held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. every Friday in the CRC Center (Room 105 of the Pasquerilla Spiritual Center). These meetings are open to anyone who has a desire to stop drinking and are closed to others.

-- Sober Sundays Alcoholics Anonymous Meeting: Held from 8-9 p.m. every Sunday in the CRC Center (Room 105 of the Pasquerilla Spiritual Center). These meetings are open to anyone who has a desire to stop drinking and are closed to others.

-- Narcotics Anonymous Meeting. Held from 5:30-6:30 every Wednesday in the CRC Center (Room 105 of the Pasquerilla Spiritual Center). These meetings are open meetings; all are welcome.

-- CRC Yoga/Meditation Meeting: Held from 6:30-7:30 p.m. every Sunday. These meetings feature gentle yoga and guided meditation, and will be held in Room 118 of the Pasquerilla Spiritual Center. These meetings are open to people in recovery, students and friends of people in recovery.
