W. LaMarr Kopp International Achievement Award nominations deadline approaches

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The University's office of Global Programs is accepting nominations for the annual W. LaMarr Kopp Award. The awards are designed to recognize those at Penn State who make extraordinary contributions to the advancement of the international mission of the University.Four awards are given annually in the categories of undergraduate student, graduate student, staff member and faculty member. Criteria for the awards include leadership and support for international education, service to the international community and research with a significant international component. Each award carries a $1,0000 cash award and a plaque. A nominee/applicant must be a full-time faculty member, staff member or student at Penn State.Deadline for receiving the full application has been extended to Jan. 14.
