Campus mail service to be interrupted from Dec. 21 to Jan. 1

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Campus mail service will be interrupted from noon Friday, Dec. 21, through Wednesday, Jan. 1. Only Penn State buildings that regularly receive direct delivery from the U.S. Postal Service will be eligible to receive mail during this period, either by picking it up at the State College Post Office, 237 S. Fraser St., or by meeting a carrier at a designated time.If your building is eligible, and you would like to make arrangements for mail service over holiday break, contact Linda Lykens at lql1@psu.edu or 814-865-7544 by Wednesday, Dec. 11. If you plan on accepting mail from the post office, you must accept all mail for your entire building.Regular mail service will resume Thursday, Jan. 2.In addition, mailings that require addressing services or that your department may be preparing to mail out before the break must be sent to the post office, 54 McAllister Building, no later than Friday, Dec. 13.
