Penn State Press to hold Holiday Book Sale

One-day event offers 25 percent discount

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Penn State Press will hold its annual Holiday Book Sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, in the Kern Building lobby. During this one-day-only event, Penn State faculty, staff and students will receive a 25 percent discount on all purchases. The discount can also be used for purchases made at www.psupress.org using the code HS2013. Free shipping is available to on-campus addresses; regular shipping charges apply everywhere else. Visitors to the sale will also have the chance to make purchases at the $5 book table.

Current Press highlights include “Angels and Wild Things,” John Cech’s study of Maurice Sendak’s writing and illustrations; a new edition of “Ayn Rand” by Chris Sciabarra, which includes two chapters documenting Rand’s education at Petrograd State University; and “Here and There,” Bill Conologue’s examination of Pennsylvania’s working landscapes.
