Police searching for suspect in Rec Hall assault

Update: University Police announced Sept. 25 that the suspect has been identified. 

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State University Police are investigating an assault that reportedly occurred at 8:46 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16, in Rec Hall.

An unknown male assaulted another male during an argument over a basketball game. University Police are attempting to identify an African-American male shown wearing a backpack and baseball hat in surveillance video.
