IT Service Desk in the Knowledge Commons expands hours

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The IT Service Desk, the "Green Team," in the Knowledge Commons, first floor Pattee Library, west, has expanded its hours. New hours can be found at and are as follows:

Fall/spring hours
8 a.m. to midnight, Monday to Thursday
8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday
10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday
10 a.m. to midnight Sunday

The IT Service Desk provides access to hands-on IT help for all Penn State students, faculty and staff, including:

-- on-campus wireless connectivity for laptops and mobile devices,
-- hardware diagnostics and installation support,
-- assistance with data transfer and backup,
-- software installation and trouble shooting, and
-- virus/spyware detection and removal.
