The Farmers Market in Hershey offers locally-grown produce, dairy products and other specialty items every Thursday through October from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. by the Cocoa Beanery off Bullfrog Valley Road, just off of the west side of the Penn State Hershey campus. Back again this year, the market features a free, weekly concert series from 6 to 8 p.m. This Thursday highlights country- and blues-influenced singer-songwriter Craig Bickhardt. Next Thursday, Sept. 12, hear Funktion — a distinctive mix of old school and new school funk, R&B and classic rock.

This week, the market also hosts the Girl Scouts from 4 to 6 p.m. Next Thursday, Sept. 12, brings Dauphin County Library Story Time from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. and the Humane Society of Harrisburg from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Or, come back on Sept. 19 for the Manada Conservancy’s feature on butterflies from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. and for a Zoo America spotlight from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 26.
