A wide variety of sports memorabilia items will be up for bid during the fifth annual Penn State DuBois Athletics Golf Scramble on Aug. 24, at the Silver Course at Treasure Lake. A silent auction will run during the tournament near the clubhouse. Registered golfers and guests will have the opportunity to stop by and place bids throughout the day.

Items in the silent auction will include a football helmet autographed by former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward and a jersey signed by Steelers tight end Heath Miller. A framed photo of Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus from the 1962 PGA Championship will also be available, as will a Penn State mini helmet autographed by Matt McGloin, former Penn State quarterback and current Oakland Raider, plus many more items from a range of sports.

The Penn State DuBois Athletics Golf Scramble is sponsored by the DuBois Educational Foundation. All proceeds will directly benefit intercollegiate athletic programs at Penn State DuBois.

The event will be a four-person scramble with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Entry fees are $75 per person, and $300 per team. Entry includes green fee, cart, snacks, lunch, on-course beverages, skill prizes and team awards.
