Parking Office closed July 15-16

The Parking Office at Penn State's University Park campus will be closed on Monday, July 15 and Tuesday, July 16, to allow staff to complete mandatory training. The Parking Office will re-open for full business at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 17. During this temporary closure, faculty, staff, students, visitors, contractors and service providers can obtain parking information and daily parking permits at the following campus locations:

-- East Parking Deck (Bigler Road next to the Berkey Creamery)-- HUB Parking Deck (Shortlidge Road near the intersection with Pollock Road)-- Nittany Parking Deck (Fischer Road next to the Nittany Lion Inn)-- Lot Red A (White Course Drive next to IST Building)-- Lot Brown A (Burrowes Road between the Deike and Reber Buildings-- Centre County/Penn State Visitor Center (Porter Road across from Beaver Stadium)

On Monday, July 15 and Tuesday, July 16 only, resident and commuting students in need of a summer semester parking permit should park in either their corresponding resident lot (Lot 22, Lot 42, Lot 81, Lot 82, or Lot 83), or Commuter lots 44 and Stadium West, but must visit the Parking Office at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday to obtain a semester permit for the appropriate student parking lot.

All parking rules and regulations will remain in effect during this temporary closure. For parking concerns, contact the Director of Transportation Services at 814-863-4006. If there is an emergency, contact University Police at 814-863-1111.

This training will allow parking staff to better serve our customers in the future.
