State College ranks No. 2 in brainiest city ranking

This year’s analysis of Lumosity’s brain-performance program ranked State College, Pa., second in its listing of “Top 25 Brainiest Metros.” State College also ranked second in the category of “Top 10 Brainiest Area for People 35 Years of Age and Under.”

State College, home of Penn State’s University Park campus, was viewed as a hub for intellect, according to the ranking released June 25.  Ithaca, N.Y., which is home to Cornell University, was the only metro area ranked above State College.
