Commission on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Equity lauds three

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Commission on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Equity (CLGBTE) recognized the contributions of individuals within the Penn State community who have shown outstanding service regarding lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) concerns with its annual awards. 

The Ally Recognition Award and the Outstanding Service Award recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the Penn State LGBTQ community. Current Penn State faculty, staff, and students are eligible for both awards.

The honorees received their awards at the annual Lavender Graduation Ceremony on April 19:
