Penn State faculty, staff and students traveling this summer and conducting research can obtain access to many libraries through Penn State University Libraries' participation in a number of on-site and reciprocal borrowing programs.
On-site access programs require Penn State identification. Reciprocal borrowing programs require authorized cards or forms in addition to Penn State identification. To learn more about the different on-site access and reciprocal borrowing programs, and to see lists of participating institutions, go to

An online form located at is available for faculty and students to request the required cards or forms for reciprocal programs. Once the online form is completed, the cards and forms will be sent through campus mail to the user. Users of both on-site and reciprocal programs are responsible for returning checked out material to the lending library and for any fees or charges incurred.
