Penn State Great Valley provides free career workshop for area professionals

"Job Search and You," sponsored by the Chester County Workforce Investment Board and Penn State Great Valley’s Office of Continuing Professional Education, is a program designed to provide career assistance to Chester County residents through the Managing Your Career Transition conferences. This year’s event will be held 8 a.m. to noon Friday, May 17, in The Conference Center, 30 E. Swedesford Road, Malvern. The conference will include a panel of human resource professionals who will discuss résumé preparation, the job interview process and using Web tools for employment searches. Additional career counseling and networking opportunities will follow the presentation. Attendance is free to eligible participants.
