Couple sells belongings, travels world to inspire

Journalist Christine Maxfield tells the fascinating story of Larissa and Michael Milne, who, in 2011, sold all their belongings to travel 30 countries on six continents for a year. Their story, "A Year and a World," is the focus of a community event presented by Penn State Great Valley, 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 25, in The Conference Center, 30 E. Swedesford Rd., Malvern, Pa. The Milnes’ ensuing 400-day journey is a story of courage and strength as the couple gradually lets go of the debilitating burden of an enabling situation and adapts to a simpler lifestyle upon returning home.
