Events at Penn State to mark Peace Corps Month

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Earlier this month, Penn State was recognized among the nation's top producers of Peace Corps volunteers with 55 undergraduate alumni serving overseas. The University is No. 21 on the Peace Corps' 2013 rankings of colleges and universities in the large school category.

Several events will be held at Penn State to mark Peace Corps Month during March.-- 6 to 7 p.m. Feb. 27, Career Services Center, Invite the World to Your Table: Returned Peace Corps volunteers (RPCVs) will share this experiences during a potluck dinner.-- 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 1, bottom of the grand staircase in the HUB-Robeson Center: RPCVs will be speaking with students and offering cake to celebrate 52 years of the Peace Corps. 

-- 6 to 7 p.m. March 12, Career Services Center, general information session.-- 6 to 7:30 p.m. March 26, Career Services Center, RPCV panel dicussion.
