Symmetry creates harmony, order and aesthetically pleasing results in almost every aspect of nature and the human experience from mathematics and physics to the arts and architecture. Penn State Great Valley’s new gallery exhibit, “Symmetry: A Juried Art Exhibit,” will showcase how local artists explore and express their own interpretation of symmetry. This exhibit is in conjunction with the Chester County Art Association and runs through March 8, at The Gallery, 30 E. Swedesford Road, Malvern. The exhibit is free and open to the public from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday. For more details, visit http://www.sgps.psu.edu/symmetry/default.ashx.
