EXHIBITS HELP PREVIEW UPCOMING ARTS FEST

The artists' booths will not sprout like mushrooms and the musicians will not begin tuning their instruments on the University Park campus and in downtown State College for another three weeks, but the excitement is already building for the 36th Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts, thanks to two free shows that are helping preview what's to come at the July 10-14 event. Crafts National 36, a juried exhibition of 104 works by 90 artists that is sponsored by the Arts Festival, opened last week and run through July 19 in the Zoller Gallery on campus. Images 2002, a juried mid-Atlantic regional fine arts exhibition of 109 works by 83 artists, opened Tuesday, June 18 in the Robeson Gallery of the HUB/Robeson Center on campus. For
