Society to host freshmen send-off picnic

The Alle-Kiski Society will host its annual Freshmen Send-off Picnic Thursday Aug. 1 at the Natrona Heights VFW. This fun and informative event is geared for students who will attend Penn State this fall. Amid good food and great door prizes, members of the alumni association meet and greet the incoming freshmen and help ease them into Penn State life. Student speakers will talk about life on campus, share their personal experiences and answer questions. This is a great chance for the new students to network with their future classmates.
