Shenango Appoints New DUS Coordinator

Steve Navarra has been named the Division of Undergraduate Studies Program Coordinator at Penn State Shenango effective July 1. In his new position, he is responsible for overall student advising at the campus, providing resources regarding program information, administering University placement testing, and conducting the first-year counseling and advising program. Navarra was hired at the Shenango campus in the fall of 1999 as a Career Counselor and Academic Advisor. He is a Penn State graduate, having earned his bachelor's degree in psychology in 1987. He went on to receive his master's degree in counseling and educational psychology from Slippery Rock University. Navarra and his wife, April, reside in New Castle.
