Gov. Schweiker delivers $3 million for technology building

On July 10, Gov. Mark Schweiker delivered $3 million in capital budget redevelopment assistance to the DuBois Educational Foundation to help build the Workforce Development and Technology Center in DuBois. The center will be a state-of-the-art, high-tech facility that will provide a site for accredited academic programs in technology at Penn State DuBois. It also will serve as the site for a full-service Team Pennsylvania CareerLink program in the DuBois area to provide one-stop workforce services for employers and job seekers, and bring together organizations with workforce and economic development responsibilities.
