Penn State DuBois has added a new business minor to its growing list of program options. Now, local students can make themselves even more marketable by adding business-oriented courses to their academic majors. "Business is where the good paying jobs are, and those students properly prepared in business decision-making can really find a variety of employment opportunities," explained Dr. John Spillan, assistant professor of business administration at Penn State DuBois and leader of the business program. "With the new business minor, Penn State DuBois students can have the best of both worlds: a baccalaureate degree from one of the most prestigious Universities in the world plus the analytical skills in demand in today's business environment," said Spillan. The business minor is designed to provide baccalaureate-degree students enrolled in non-business programs an understanding of how the world economy works and interfaces with day-to-day decision making in small and large settings.
